Title European Network for Medical and Veterinary Entomology
Description The main objectives of the framework contract are:
— to consolidate the existing European network of medical and veterinary entomologists (VectorNet),
— to provide scientific support to ECDC and EFSA for their assessments on vectors and vector-borne diseases risk, prevention and control,
— to define and/or update the geographical distribution, abundance and seasonality of targeted arthropod vectors in the EU/EEA, the EU Enlargement countries, the European Neighbourhood Policy partner countries, and possibly some EU overseas countries and territories and EU outermost regions,
— to contribute to capacity building on vectors and vector-borne diseases.
