Description
Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Consulate General of the United States in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil will launch the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website (Beta.Sam.gov) when it is available. This Solicitation is for microphone system replacement at NIV Consular Section in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The Government plans to issue the solicitation in beginning of May 2020. The quotation due date will be set forth in the solicitation.

All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered.

The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.

The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference/site visit and the date and time will be in the solicitation letter.  Confirmation of the pre-quotation conference/site visit will be pending the lifting of travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
