Summary Scope of Contract: The proposed consultancy assignment is aimed at providing advice and guidance to all stakeholders in the transition from a the current GTA into a dynamic, responsive and more result oriented GTB to provide direction, guidance and development services to the industry, and direct and conduct all international marketing and promotion of the country as a tourism destination. The Tourism Business Plan 2010 outlines the proposed structure and re-organisation and this will need to be refined and implemented.
The organisation and design of this new entity will require a substantial level of corporate management, from setting up the legal entity under which it will operate, to recruitment of all management and staff, and the development of key processes. In addition there will be a requirement to ensure that the on-going process of tourism activity is not interrupted and a smooth transition is achieved.
