About the Funding Agency

Global Environment Facility

The Global Environment Facility (GEF) was founded on the eve of the Rio Earth Summit 30 years ago to address our planet's most critical environmental issues. Bhutan

Bhutan’s infrastructure development focuses on hydropower generation, rural connectivity and sustainable urban services aligned with environmental priorities.
