Enhanced pilot environment

Objectives: Future warfare is expected to feature extensive networking of combat systems and high automation levels. To ensure pilots have adequate situational awareness, this grant aims to develop equipment and software leveraging technologies like wearables, augmented reality, 3D holography, and virtual assistants. This aims to free pilots from repetitive tasks and improve mission success rates by allowing focus on high-value tasks. Key areas include innovative Human-Machine Interfaces, pilot status monitoring, and AI-assisted decision-making. The objective is to shape the next generation of air combat systems with advanced display and interaction capabilities.
