Terra Foundation for American Art invites applications for Collections Grants: Planning grants

Objectives: Terra Foundation for American Art's Collections Grants aim to encourage organizations to reinterpret and re-present their permanent collections by offering financial assistance for planning, researching, and implementing permanent collection re-installations or arranging temporary exhibitions inspired by a permanent collection. The objectives of these grants, which range from $25,000 to $100,000, focus on supporting a broad understanding and transformative storytelling of American art, inclusive of diverse voices and methodologies, including intercultural and interdisciplinary approaches. Additionally, the foundation seeks to catalyze inclusive and expansive practices in reflecting the complexity and richness of American art histories.
