Inter’Act: Programme de sensibilisation aux réfugiés

Objectives: The Inter’Act program is an educational initiative aimed at fostering peaceful coexistence between host communities and refugees. Initiated as part of the Bayeux War Correspondents Prize in 2017, it brings together refugees and students to share experiences, elucidate refugees' journeys, and underscore the importance of refugee protection. Through close collaboration with refugees, local authorities, and educational staff, it aims to equip educators with knowledge on forced exile and foster hope and solutions. The initiative involves immersive week-long events at schools, including refugee testimonials, workshops, and exhibitions, aimed at enhancing understanding, empathy, and social cohesion among participants, with a focus on building inclusive and supportive responses to forced displacement.
