Protecting children in humanitarian crises

Objectives: The grant aims to protect children in humanitarian crises in Northwest Nigeria, focusing on protecting vulnerable populations such as women and children, specifically adolescent girls. The project seeks to empower and build resilience through community-based structures, to monitor, prevent, and respond to violence and harmful practices. Efforts will center on child protection, gender-based violence prevention, and supporting access to health, legal, and protection services in Zamfara, particularly in four identified IDP camps. Stakeholder coordination and capacity building of government and community actors form integral parts of the initiative.
