Iniziativa di emergenza in favore delle popolazioni vittime dei recenti conflitti, con particolare attenzione alla tutela dei bambini, delle donne vittime di violenza e della popolazione più vulnerabile (AID 10084).
E’ stata autorizzata un’iniziativa di emergenza in Mali da realizzarsi con il concorso di Ong ai sensi della Legge 80/2005 e successive modifiche ed integrazioni, che, all’art. 1, comma 15-sexies, attribuisce al Capo Missione la facoltà di stipulare convenzioni con Ong per la realizzazione di interventi di emergenza (art. 11 Legge 49/87).
Le proposte progettuali dovranno essere presentate dagli organismi proponenti all’Ambasciata d’Italia/Utl in Dakar, in formato cartaceo e supporto informatico (Cd-Rom con file Pdf), al seguente indirizzo:

About the Funding Agency
AICS - the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation - is one of key innovations established by the Italian law on international cooperation (Law No. 125/2014). The Agency began operating in January 2016, with the aim of aligning Italy with its principal European and global partners in the endeavor of development. Its basic model reflects that used in the main European countries, and it must comply with the demand for more professional and innovative forms of cooperation, involving the methodological flexibility necessary in a continuously evolving scenario.
The Agency headquarters are in Rome. AICS runs another base in Florence and 20 field offices worldwide for assessing local needs, implementing development initiatives, monitoring results and building partnerships on the ground. According to the law, the Agency’s mission is to "perform technical and operational activities associated with the examination, development, financing, management and control of the cooperation initiatives".

Mali faces significant infrastructure and development challenges amid political instability and security pressures. Investments in road corridors, rural electrification and water systems aim to improve connectivity and support agricultural and mining sectors. However, fiscal constraints and governance limitations have slowed implementation of large-scale projects. Strengthening institutional capacity, improving infrastructure governance and enhancing regional integration through Sahel trade corridors remain central to promoting economic resilience and diversification beyond gold exports.
