A total of 131 proposals have been submitted in response to this call. The number of proposals for this topic is shown below including the indicative budget of the topic:
SEC-13-BES-2017: 1 proposal (indicative budget: 10 M€);
The evaluation of the proposals will start by mid-September and will be closed by the end of the year. Applicants will be informed on the outcome of the evaluations in mid-January 2018.

Meaning of practitioners
A practitioner is someone who is qualified or registered to practice a particular occupation, profession in the field of security or civil protection.
Applicants are invited to identify clearly which members of the consortium they consider "practitioners" in the specific context of their proposal, and to include a clear description of their respective role and added-value as practitioners.

Horizon 2020 - is a Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development, and is created by the European Union in order to support and encourage research in the European Research Area (ERA).
