Project Tasks

• Review and assessment of the new decentralisation legislation and its implications for MoE and the DPL, especially with regard to FM procurement;
• Explored the current status of the Governorate Council Tendering Committee;
• Developed comprehensive guidelines for the implementation of the new decentralised maintenance budget strategy;
• Outlined MoE-based funding mechanisms and the respective approval authorities;
• Identified initial training needs of the relevant MoE departments, committees and Field Directorates.

Experts Qualification

 Master’s in Public Admistration, M&E, Public Finance and Governanace or any related field 

• Previous experience working with the Ministry of Education (MoE) in Jordan 
• 10 years demonstrated expereince working in the above mentioned fields
• Development cooperation experience such as UNDP, UNICEF, EC, WB, and ADB etc 
• Experience working in Jordan and Middle East Region 
• Experience working on projects similar to this assignment which focus on decentralisation and local administration, good governance, public sector reform, public financial management M&E and assessment;
