Energy Consultant

As a Consultant you will undertake projects supporting Clients to realize their business objectives in the energy sector through accurate data gathering, thorough analysis and process recommendations and by presenting objective advice based on technology review, market analysis and company information.

Your Role:

• You will work in an interdisciplinary team of engineers and economists
• Your responsibilities include business and/or technical consulting in energy supply, transportation and distribution
• You will prepare proposals and perform quality control of your work
• You will model and design energy infrastructure systems
• This position is based in Munich but some domestic and international travelling will be required.

Your Profile:

• Degree in engineering with an energy focus
• New graduates welcome or < 3 years of experience
• Based on your major fields of studies and/or relevant internships, you have acquired basic knowledge in the fields of financing, economics, energy conversion, transportation or distribution, market analysis or business consulting
• First experience in project management, lender’s technical advisory, contracts & claim management, transaction advisory, project finance or feasibility study highly desirable
• You are interested in issues important to the energy sector
• You are a great team player but can also be an excellent leader when needed
• You have a distinct analytical mindset, able to work autonomously and display genuine commitment
• Strong analytical skills are a must
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, Plexos knowledge a plus
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and/or German
• Additional languages are desired but not required
