Environmental and Social Specialist

Qualifications and skills

• University degree in engineering with
• minimum five (5) years of professional experience including
• at least three (3) years’ experience in environmental and social impact/risk assessment, preparation of environmental and social assessment tools (Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP), Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), etc.) and
• knowledge in environmental and social safeguard policies and Environmental and Social Standards (ESSs) of the World Bank’s Environmental and Social Framework (ESF) or other international development institutions.

Specific professional experience

• Superstructure experience in construction sector
• Experience in IFIs or public financed projects would be an asset
• Experience in local Laws and Regulations
• Fluency in English, Turkish will be an asset
