Technical Assistance For a “CREATE IN İZMİR: Entrepreneurial Hub of Cultural and Creative Industries” Project (NEAR/ANK/2021/EA-RP/0046)

Overall objective: To increase and sustain a competitive growth and development in Izmir and its hinterland.

Key expert 2: Design and Innovation Expert

Qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Business Administration/Economics/Media/ Communication/Public Relations/Marketing. In the absence of university degree in above mentioned fields,university degree in any other field will be accepted if accompanied by minimum 5 years of professional experience in the field of Creative Industries (according to UNCTAD's list of creative industries) as an expert/manager
• Very good command of English (speaking, reading and writing)
• Proven capability to use design software programmes, via certificate/design portfolio, will be an asset.

General Professional Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience following the attainment of the Bachelor's degree.

Specific Professional Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the fields of industrial design/ science and technology management/ R&D management/ innovation management
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the fields of communication/ marketing/ advertising/public relations/ (electronic) publishing.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Integrated Marketing Communication.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in projects concerning design management or product design/ service design with creative Start-ups and Entrepreneurs will be an asset
