Key expert 1: Team Leader

“Technical Assistance for Town Twinning Between Turkey and the EU (Phase - II) NEAR/ANK/2022/EA-OP/0004”

The overall objectives (impact) to which this action contributes are:

• To enhance the dialogue between Turkish and EU local authorities
• To strengthen the capacities of local authorities to carry out climate and environment based actions

Qualifications and skills

• At least Bachelor degree. In the absence of the required degree, equivalent professional experience of minimum of 9 years' professional experience with local authorities. At least B2 level of English as per the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
• Master's and/or PhD degree in Public Administration, International Relations, Political Sciences or EU Affairs will be an asset

 General professional experience

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with local authorities
• At least 3 experiences with a managerial position as a Team Leader/Project Manager or equivalent

  Specific professional experience

• At least 3 experiences in climate change and/or environment
• Experience with the Turkish local authorities will be an asset 
• Experience with local/ regional authorities at international or European level will be asset
