MEL Specialist – Economic Growth and Environment, USAID/Nigeria Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Support Activity (MELSA), Nigeria

Project Objective:
The USAID/Nigeria Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Support Activity was awarded to Navanti Group, LLC in July 2021. The purpose of this five-year project (2021 – 2026) is to support USAID/Nigeria staff and partners to implement more efficient, effective, and transparent activities by improving: (1) USAID and Implementing Partner’s (IP) capacity to achieve expected results; (2) USAID’s understanding and tracking of activity and project performance; and (3) Mission and activity ability to collaborate, learn, and adapt (CLA). Navanti contracted Social Impact (SI) as its subcontractor to support achievement of the project’s objectives.
Position Description:
SI is seeking a full-time, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Specialist who will contribute to the implementation of activities for this project in support of the USAID/Nigeria Economic Growth and Environment (EGE) Office. The MEL Specialist should possess strong familiarity with the EGE sector and experience across the MEL spectrum, including conducting a variety of monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities. This position will be based in Abuja and the MEL Specialist will serve on a full-time basis throughout the remainder of the project period of performance.
