SEGURA Consulting is a consortium partner on the Jordan Economic Reform Activity Task Order 1 (ERA) led by Chemonics. SEGURA is recruiting up to two (2) qualified International Business Advisors to facilitate exports of buildings design and urban planning services from Jordan to the United States. This assignment will be conducted primarily remotely but may include up to two trips to Jordan and/or the United States.
BACKGROUND
The Jordan Economic Reform Activity Task Order 1 (ERA TO1) is a 5-year, $54 million program funded by USAID that aims to support the Government of Jordan (GOJ) to prioritize and implement economic reforms. Among other activities, ERA is working with Jordan Exports (JE), Jordan’s export promotion agency, to connect priority export-competitive firms with potential buyers/partners based on market demand and product/service-market fit.
As part of this effort, we are seeking short-term consultants to help facilitate business-to-business (B2B) linkages between 1-2 Jordanian architecture, engineering, and planning firms, and potential U.S. partner firms. In collaboration with JE, the advisor will support the Jordanian firm(s) in preparing for and participating in B2B meetings with U.S. firms, while strengthening JE’s export support services to the architecture, engineering, and planning sector.
