International Team Leader / Resident Engineer

Position:                    International Team Leader / Resident Engineer 

Type of contract:       Freelance Agreement

Assignment:              Full-time

Location:                   Jordan 

Project start:             April 2026 (tentative) for a minimum of 792 working days

For a current EIB tender we are looking for an international Team Leader / Resident Engineer with the following qualification:

Qualification and skills:

• University degree in engineering 
• Fluent spoken and written English. 

General professional experience:

• Minimum 10 years of project management experience related to contract administration/supervision of contracts . 
• Minimum 5 years of international working experience (outside country of origin) related to contract administration/supervision . 
• Experience in the MENA region will be considered an advantage. 

Specific professional experience:

• Previous experience as Team Leader / Resident Engineer for the contract administration/construction supervision of: 

(i) Minimum one individual works contract, which included the construction of water transmission pipelines at least 20km in length and pipe diameters of at least 600mm. The contract must have been completed within a 15 year period prior to the deadline for submission of the Proposal. 
(ii) Minimum one individual works contract, which included the construction of riverine structures such as intakes, dams, bridges with foundations within the bed, weirs, embankments, bed regulation and the like. The value of each contract brought as a reference shall be at least 500,000 EUR. The contract must have been completed within a 15 year period prior to the deadline for submission of the tender. 
(iii) Minimum two works contracts, each with a value greater than Eur 10 million under the FIDIC Red Book 1st Edition (1999), FIDIC Red Book 2nd Edition (2017), FIDIC Yellow Book 1st Edition (1999), FIDIC Yellow Book 2nd Edition (2017), or FIDIC Design, Build and Operate Contract - Gold Book (2008).
