Role: Associate Director of Evaluations

ESDO is growing at an exciting pace and our repeat clients appreciate the quality and speed of our work in difficult places. Our growth and impact means we are ready to add a Director-level role to provide expertise, guidance and support to our evaluations.
The role is for 2 days work per month, with hours spread across the month flexibly. It is a remote position.
The ideal candidate will have 20+ years experience in humanitarian evaluations, either with a specialisation in one sector or cross cutting theme; or with extensive multi-sectorial experience.
The Role
This role will contribute experience, advice and support to winning and delivering MEAL projects globally including:
- Supporting and providing advice to the business development, interview and proposal process;
- Providing support, guidance and expertise into the design, delivery and completion of MEAL projects, including liaising with clients and donors
- Providing ad-hoc strategic advice to the teams;
- Help ensure high levels of technical competency across all projects;
- Ensure all M&E projects are intersectional, conflict, disability and gender sensitive.
The hours to work are flexible and support senior people with a variety of existing professional and personal commitments.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- 20+ years of evaluation experience
- Complete fluency in written English
- high levels of credibility in the industry
