Scope:
1. Hydrologist will among others, estimate and assess the relationship between rainfall, run off and soils and rock features of the catchments along the project area with focus on surface water, including rivers,
2. Shall review the available hydrological information obtained from hydrological studies and advice accordingly on flood water management strategies.
Qualification:
1. A degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
2. Post-graduate qualification in Hydrology or Hydraulics Engineering is an added advantage;
Registrations:
Must be a registered with professional body.
Experience:
1. Ten (10) years cumulative experience related to Civil Engineering hydrological or hydraulic investigations, climate change modelling and design activities for transport infrastructure projects;
2. Must have served as a Hydrologist on at least two (2) completed roads projects within the last 10 years.
Language:
Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
