This is a remote position.
Role: Digital Marketing Specialist

SUMMARY
The perfect creative marketing role for candidates seeking a place to thrive where there is s strong social mission in place. The role is part-time, working 2-3 days per month remotely with hours chosen by you.

ROLE
ESDO works mostly in conflict zones especially Afghanistan, Ukraine, Iraq, Syria, Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan and the Sahel. We work to improve the humanitarian aid and development programs that help the lives of those most in need with a particular focus on women, girls, disability, the marginalised (e.g., LGBTQI, ethnic minorities) and the displaced. While this role is remote and does not involve travel, you should be strongly aligned with who we serve and have a natural ability to represent these views through ESDO's online presence.
You will be working autonomously and interacting with all ESDO teams. The key elements of the role will involve:
- Building a social media presence ESDO can be proud of, advocating for issues of importance across our missions
- Contributing to the repositioning of ESDO's brand and visual identity online
- Ensuring a regular and consistent flow of digital marketing
Requirements
An ideal applicant is:
- native English speakers with creative writing flair
- social media gurus
- have a creative visual design style
- experienced in using WordPress
- available for a cumulative total of 2-3 days per month
