Ethiopia| KfW “Consulting Services for Strengthening of Value Chains, Ethiopia”

For a future KfW funded project in Ethiopia, GITEC-IGIP  GmbH  is looking for international, regional and national experts with experience in projects related to agricultural value chains, agricultural institutional strengthening  , cereal production, Agricultural mechanisation/irrigation. All experts must have some regional and IFI (KfW, ADB, AfD, GIZ, etc. ) experience.

Minimum Requirements

•Experience in Ethiopia
•Experience in East Africa
•At least 10 years of general experience
•At least 5 years of experience in the field (Expertise)
•Experience in KfW funded projects is an asset

Expertise to be fulfilled (According to the position): 

·Business development
·Agro-economy, socio-economy
·Cereal production
·Value chain development
·Agricultural engineering, incl. mechanisation and irrigation
·Business planning, business development
·Development of cooperatives/ farmer-based organisations
·Capacity building / development
 

International and National Experts :

a) Intl. Team Leader

b) Natl. Deputy Team Leader

c) Intl. Social and Environmental Safeguards Expert

d) Natl. Social and Environmental Safeguards Expert

e) Intl. Agriculture / Agronomy Expert

f) Natl. Agriculture / Agronomy Expert

g) Intl. Finance and Procurement Expert

h) Natl. Finance Expert 

i)Natl. Procurement Expert

j) Intl. Pool Expert in fields as required by expertise

k) Natl. Pool Expert in fields as required by expertise
