KPMG Morocco is recruiting local technical experts (Independent Consultants) in the following Sustainability fields: renewable energy, energy and resource efficiency, and climate resilience investments, including water saving, water desalination, circular economy, biomass utilization, and green buildings and technologies.
We are now expanding our local expert team in Morocco and invite applications from highly qualified and motivated professionals.
Job Description
As a team member, you will support technical assistance services to small, medium-sized and large green investments, including reviewing project documentation, conducting assessments and on-site spot checks, preparing detailed technical reports.
Nature of employment: Independent Consultant
Qualifications: A Graduate Degree (MSc. equivalent) in: Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Renewable Energy, Sustainable Development, Buildings/Technology, Agronomy/Agricultural Engineering, or equivalent
Professional Experience
A minimum of 5 years professional experience with the following expertise:
· Knowledge of regulations applicable to Morocco as well as best practice in EU for building construction - energy performance, building design, health, and safety, etc.
· Familiarity with Morocco’s market context in agriculture, industry, commerce, and/or residential sectors
· Technical knowledge in one or more of the following:
o Agribusiness and agricultural equipment
o Food processing machinery
o Renewable energy and energy efficiency systems (e.g., solar PV, heat pumps, irrigation systems, cold storage, HVACs)
o Energy audits, including GHG emission calculations
o Environmental, social risk management, and product safety
Language Competencies
Must be fluent in French and Arabic, and it is desirable to be proficient in English.
