Objective of the Consultancy
The objectives of the consultancy are to:
1) Craft a Distinctive and Authentic National Brand for Suriname, that:
It is important that consultants deliver a hard-nosed and pragmatic brand for Suriname and SITA that, while acknowledging Suriname’s many impressive natural attributes, also supports the country to diversify economy away from a focus on extractives towards sectors that will lead to economic growth and prosperity across the nation.
2) Develop a dynamic and recognizable brand identity for the Suriname Investment and Trade Agency (SITA), which:
EXPECTED PROFILE
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Years of Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in public relations and communications.
Type of Experience:
• Proven experience in managing PR campaigns, media relations, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience working on national branding campaigns and organizing large-scale public events (e.g., brand launches).
• Experience working with government entities and handling communications related to national projects.
Additional Requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluency in Dutch is a desirable asset.
