Project Description
The Government of Belize acting through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology (MOECST) has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), toward the cost of the Skill for the Future Program and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The consulting services (“the Services”) for the Consultancy Service to Design and Implement Programs to Promote Participation of Women in Fourth Industrial Revolution (4iR) Education Fields include the following objectives with an expected duration of 6 months.

The main objective of this consultancy is to increase access to gender-specific education services to promote inclusive education by providing girls and young women with the confidence, tools, knowledge, and support to enter and flourish in the world of 4iR. Specific objectives include:
Position Description
The Communications Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies to promote awareness and engagement with the program’s activities. This includes managing digital content, coordinating promotional events, and crafting messaging that highlights gender equity and education initiatives.
Candidates shall have at a minimum the following qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or related field.

Professionally proficient and fluent in written and spoken English.
