Pool of Experts 3 – Active Labour Market Measures and Soft Skills for Employability

The project "Capacity Development in TVET for the socially just and ecological transformation in Brazil"  supports the Brazilian government's efforts to align its Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system with the principles of sustainability, social inclusion, and economic transformation. It focuses on three main sectors: renewable energies, bioeconomy, and circular economy. The project seeks to improve access, quality, and employability outcomes of TVET for youth, especially women and vulnerable groups, while fostering public-private cooperation and enhancing the role of TVET institutions in Brazil’s just ecological transition.

Pool of Experts 3 – Active Labour Market Measures and Soft Skills for Employability

Tasks:

• Develop soft skills content and delivery formats for TVET institutions.
• Introduce and advise on career guidance, mentoring, job fairs, and orientation strategies.
• Tailor tools for women and vulnerable youth.

Profile:

• Master’s in social sciences, psychology, pedagogy or employment studies.
• 10 years in design and implementation of active labour market policies.
• 10 years of general professional experience in advisory and capacity development.
• 5 years of experience in development cooperation.
• 5 years of working experience in Brazil and 5 in Latin America (outside Brazil).
• Demonstrated experience with job-readiness and school-to-work transition measures.
• Focus on gender and social equity.
• Fluency in English (B2) and Portuguese (C2).
