Background
Public Administration International (PAI) is the UK-registered company with 30 years’ experience in implementing aid-funded technical assistance projects in the areas of public administration, justice and good governance.
Jointly with another UK firm, called “Governance and Justice Group” (GJG), PAI was awarded a contract by GIZ (German Corporation for International Cooperation) for the development and implementation of the Capacity Development Strategy for the selected government and non-government institutions in the justice sector to provide better services to vulnerable justice seekers, especially women.
This contract is financed under "Access to Justice for Women" project by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and co-funded by the European Union.
Project’s tasks
The scope of this contract involves the following tasks:
· Development of a Capacity Development Strategy (CDS)
· Development of training modules and materials based on priorities of CDS
· Organise and implement the training modules
· Integrate the training modules and materials into the training curricula and programmes of government and non-government institutions
The project’s duration is 18 months (1 July 2025 to 31 December 2026). The project's details can be found in the TOR attached.
Tasks of Expert
The consortium is looking for an Expert on training facilitation to support the consultancy team in the following specific tasks:
• Provide technical input to develop training plan and schedule
• Support to organize trainings and facilitated training session
Input: 20 working days
Qualifications of Expert
• Education/training: Masters in Law, Social Science, Business Administration or a related field.
• Language: Proficient (C1-level) user of English language with a native fluency in Bangla.
• General professional experience: 12 years of professional field experience in capacity development of different institutional actors in public sectors.
• Specific professional experience: 8 years’ experience to work with Justice actors to enhance their competency through organizing and facilitating training courses.
• Regional experience: 5 years working experience in Bangladesh
