Policy Advocacy Specialist

The assignment focuses on accompanying Anglophone African countries of the SUN Movement in the implementation of their Nutrition for Growth (N4G) commitments, through the preparation and validation of national nutrition strategies, investment cases, and advocacy processes. The expert profiles presented correspond to the key functions required for this project, ensuring the delivery of strategic coordination, economic and financial modelling, policy advocacy, and technical expertise in nutrition governance. Together, they will contribute to translating commitments into concrete and measurable results, strengthening policies and capacities at national level.

Policy Advocacy Specialist - PROFILE

• Postgraduate degree in Political Science, Communications, Law, Public Policy or another relevant discipline.
• Five years of professional experience in political, legislative, or cross-sector advocacy.
• At least five years’ experience in political and legislative advocacy, including coordination of cross-sector campaigns or parliamentary hearings, management of relationships with key stakeholders, drafting of advocacy documents, and facilitation of political events or processes in Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Full command of English (C1 or native-equivalent).
