Job Title: Director of Sustainability & Land Management
Business Line: Sustainability & Land Management
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Location: Tirana
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:
The Director of Sustainability & Land Management is responsible for leading, managing and growing the Business Line focused on (i) environmental and social impact assessments,
(ii) environmental and social permitting and approvals; (iii) environmental and social due diligence, monitoring and reporting; (iv) land management services including cadaster, land access, resettlement planning, geospatial surveys and analysis.
The role requires strong technical expertise and strategic oversight to ensure excellence in project delivery, client satisfaction and business development.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee operations and market engagement across the Business Line target geographies.
• Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams across environmental, social, and land management services.
• Oversee the execution of Business Line projects and initiatives.
• Ensure technical excellence and compliance with national and international regulations.
• Drive business development by identifying new project opportunities, preparing technical and financial proposals, and expanding the client base in the public and private sectors.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, donors, funding agencies regulatory authorities, and key stakeholders.
• Represent the company at sector events and technical forums to promote service offerings.
• Monitor projects’ performance, budgets, and timelines to ensure target profitability and high client satisfaction.
• Monitor operational KPIs, resource allocation, and financial performance across the Business Line.
• Collaborate with the COO and other Directors on cross-cutting initiatives and corporate strategy.

Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Land Management, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in ESIA, environmental permitting and approvals, and land management and policies.
• Strong understanding of national and EU regulatory frameworks, other applicable international standards and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication and project management skills.
