Job Opportunity: Laboratory Manager at LUMEN Ltd. - ISO/IEC 17025 Expert Required ????

LUMEN Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Manager to lead our state-of-the-art testing facility. This is a critical leadership role focusing on maintaining quality assurance, technical accuracy, and full compliance with international standards.


???? Role Summary

The Laboratory Manager will be responsible for the overall management of laboratory operations, ensuring all testing activities adhere strictly to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard. The successful candidate will be the driving force behind our Quality Management System (QMS), overseeing all QA/QC processes and ensuring reliable, accurate reporting.

???? Key Requirements & Responsibilities

Essential Qualification (Non-Negotiable):

  • ISO/IEC 17025 Training: Must possess documented, formal training in the requirements, implementation, and maintenance of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard (General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories).

Core Duties:

  • Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC): Develop, implement, and rigorously maintain the laboratory's Quality Management System (QMS) compliant with ISO/IEC 17025. Manage all QC activities, including instrument calibration, method validation, proficiency testing, and internal audits.
  • Reporting: Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timely issuance of all official test reports and documentation.
  • Operational Management: Oversee daily lab operations, including personnel management, resource allocation, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Compliance: Act as the primary technical point of contact for external audits, accreditation body assessments, and regulatory inspections.

???? Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in managing an accredited or pre-accreditation laboratory setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage technical staff.
  • Deep understanding of analytical methods, data review, and laboratory safety protocols.
