Highway Engineer/Project Manager/Team Leader

We, K&J Projects Private Limited, INDIA are shortlisted for submitting the proposal for the Project:

Consultancy Services for the Feasibility Study of 500km, Detail Design of 150km and Preparation of Procurement Document of Road Construction Nationwide.

The consultancy services shall be undertaken in two stages as follows:

·        Stage 1 – Feasibility studies and preliminary design for 500 km of roads

·        Stage 2 – Detailed design, tender and contract documentation, of 150 km of roads

Project Manager / Team Leader (Stage-1 input of 5.5 months and for stage-2 input of 5 months)

Education: A Chartered (or equivalent) Engineer or, with at least a bachelor’s degree in civil, highway engineering or transport Engineering

Experience:

·        Minimum of fifteen (15) years relevant experience with at least ten (10) years as a team leader, including at least five (5) years African work experience

·        A relevant advanced degree would be an added advantage

·    The experience should include at least five (5) years’ experience in design and procurement of road contracts, preparation of BDs for Multilateral Development Institutions, tender evaluation support, and Contract Management

·        must have proven experience in road design

·        The consultant should specifically be familiar with international engineering contract procedures (FIDIC, etc.) and administration

·        Fully conversant with international procurement procedures
