The Global Fund funds local progams to combat HIV, Malaria and Tuberculosis. The Local Fund Agent team checks implementation of the grant(s) on finances, plans and progress, procurement and supply.
Local Fund Agent - The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria
For a tender of the Global Fund for Local Fund Agent (LFA) services in Benin, Cabo Verde en Cote d’Ivoire, SGS is looking for experts from the West and Central African region who are fluent in French and English:
- Team Leaders, Finance Professionals (junior and senior, must be based in Cote d’Ivoire, Cabo Verde or Benin), Monitoring & Evaluation Experts, and Procurement and Supply Management Experts (health products). Experience with the Global Fund is preferred.
The positions are part-time, the work is done remotely and in-country. If awarded, the work will start in July 2026, and can be extended each year.
The Team Leader must have a Master’s degree in Public Health, Finance/Accounting, Public Administration, Social Science or relevant discipline. Plus:
10 years of management experience, preferably in the health, social or financial sector, with
(i) strong project management and team management skills, ability to prioritize tasks and meet multiple deadlines in complex environment;
(ii) an in-depth knowledge of issues relating to project management in developing countries;
(iii) strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy and tact to effectively communicate with senior-level officials, multiple stakeholders and professionals from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds; and
(iv) strong professional oral communication, writing and analytical skills, including the development of reports, oral presentations, and technical/persuasive documents.
