Energy Autonomy / Renewable Energy & Micro-Grids Expert

LDK Consultants is seeking an experienced Energy Autonomy / Renewable Energy & Micro-Grids Expert for an upcoming assignment under a major framework contract that the company is implementing.  The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in renewable energy systems, distributed generation, hybrid power systems, and energy autonomy solutions, with a strong understanding of technical and economic assessment methodologies.

Country of project: Greece

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.

·       Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in renewable energy systems and distributed generation

Experience

Demonstrated experience through participation in at least three projects, preferably within the last five years, in the design and/or implementation of energy autonomy solutions and micro-grids, including the following:

o            Hybrid power systems

o            Renewable energy generation

o            Energy storage systems

o            Technical and economic assessments

Demonstrated experience through participation in at least two relevant projects, preferably within the last five years in Energy as a Service (EaaS) and/or ESCO business models
