Location: Caribbean island, full-time, resident on site

Duration: approx. 18 months (construction phase)

Anticipated start: September/October 2026 (indicative)

About the assignment: Politecnica, an Italian engineering and architecture firm active in more than 20 countries, including across the Caribbean region, is recruiting a Resident Engineer/Team Leader for the construction supervision of a healthcare facility. The project is funded by an international financing institution (IFI). 

We are looking for an experienced Resident Engineer leading day-to-day supervision and contract administration. The working language is English. S/he will lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary supervision team mobilised on full- or part-time inputs according to the project schedule.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or Architecture or Construction (M.Sc. an asset)
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in construction supervision of buildings, including FIDIC assignments
  • Experience as Resident Engineer, Team Leader or equivalent site-supervision lead on similar building projects
  • Experience on IFI- or donor-funded projects
  • Experience on healthcare or institutional buildings
