We are looking for a Team Leader - International (minimum 60 person-months for time-based tasks).
The expert must be an experienced professionally qualified civil engineer with a corporate member of relevant professional institution, Master’s degree in civil engineering or project management or equivalent and about 25 years of work experience out of which about 15 years should be Team Leader or similar position related to project management of large irrigation and water resources projects similar to the investmentnprogram that include multiple concurrent works activities and construction of tunnels in soil and rock,nearth dams, anicuts, large canals, and large gated hydraulic structures. The expert should have demonstrated experience of leading design and implementation teams, and working in complex projects in similar geographical and topographical settings. The expert should be competent in planning, design, contract management, quality assurance and quality control, safety, compliance with safeguards, etc. pertaining to construction of similar projects. The expert must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. The expert will have prior experience of leading similar
multilateral or international donor agency funded projects in countries with similar geographic
conditions.
