1. Position Overview
Position: Biodiversity / Ecological Expert
Location: Philippines
Input Duration: 6 person-months
Expected Mobilization: Late 2026 / Early 2027 (to be confirmed)
2. Key Responsibilities
Lead biological and ecological scoping, baseline surveys, and assessments.
Conduct field investigations and coordinate consultations with relevant authorities and stakeholders.
Provide technical inputs to environmental assessment reports and environmental management plans.
Support environmental review processes, public consultations, and the preparation of relevant permitting documents.
3. Key Qualifications
Preferably a licensed or professionally certified Environmental Ecologist or Biodiversity Expert.
At least 10 years of experience in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies for similar projects.
Experience in environmental management and biodiversity monitoring for similar river and marine projects.
Specific experience with mangrove ecosystems is required.
