We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Specialist to join our proposed team for the Narayanganj Green and Resilient Urban Development Project in Bangladesh.
Contribute to improving occupational health and construction safety standards on a major urban infrastructure project.

Position: A4 – Health & Safety Specialist
Project: Consultancy Services for Management, Design and Supervision of Construction (MDSC), Including GESI Implementation – Narayanganj Green and Resilient Urban Development Project
Location: Narayanganj, Bangladesh
Funding Agency: Asian Development Bank (ADB)
Project Status: Proposal Stage
Expert Input: 3 person-months (Construction Period)
Expected Commencement: To be confirmed
Support the development and implementation of on-site health and safety management programs.
Conduct construction site safety inspections, monitoring, and audits.
Identify occupational health and safety risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
Provide safety training and technical guidance to the project team.
Monitor compliance with applicable project health and safety requirements.
Master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Safety, Industrial Safety, or a relevant discipline.
Minimum 15 years of experience in health and safety management, including the development and implementation of on-site safety programs, monitoring, safety audits, and training.
Minimum 5 years of relevant construction safety experience in urban infrastructure works, including water supply, sewerage, bridges, roads, or metro rail.
Professional on-site working experience in both developed and developing countries is required.
Proficiency in English.
