We are seeking an experienced Climate Change and Adaptation Specialist to join our proposed team for the Narayanganj Green and Resilient Urban Development Project in Bangladesh.
Contribute to strengthening urban resilience against climate change impacts in Bangladesh.

Position: A5 – Climate Change and Adaptation Specialist
Project: Consultancy Services for Management, Design and Supervision of Construction (MDSC), Including GESI Implementation – Narayanganj Green and Resilient Urban Development Project
Location: Narayanganj, Bangladesh
Funding Agency: Asian Development Bank (ADB)
Project Status: Proposal Stage
Expert Input: 3 person-months (Construction Period)
Expected Commencement: To be confirmed
Assess climate-related risks and vulnerabilities affecting urban infrastructure.
Review infrastructure designs and recommend climate-resilient solutions.
Support the integration of climate change adaptation measures into project planning and design.
Provide technical guidance on improving infrastructure resilience against climate-related hazards.
Master's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Geography, or a similar discipline.
Minimum 15 years of professional experience.
Minimum 10 years of experience in climate change issues, including climate-resilient design.
Minimum 5 years of experience in donor-funded projects.
Proficiency in English.
Competitive and negotiable remuneration based on qualifications and experience.
