We are seeking an experienced Social Safeguards Specialist to join our proposed team for the Narayanganj Green and Resilient Urban Development Project in Bangladesh, supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
Contribute to socially responsible urban infrastructure development in Bangladesh.

Position: A6 – Social Safeguards Specialist
Project: Consultancy Services for Management, Design and Supervision of Construction (MDSC), Including GESI Implementation – Narayanganj Green and Resilient Urban Development Project
Location: Narayanganj, Bangladesh
Funding Agency: Asian Development Bank (ADB)
Project Status: Proposal Stage
Expert Input: 3 person-months (Construction Period)
Expected Commencement: To be confirmed
Support the implementation and monitoring of social safeguards measures.
Review and provide technical advice on resettlement and other project-related social impacts.
Assist with stakeholder engagement and community consultation activities.
Monitor social safeguard compliance and support the preparation of relevant reports.
Coordinate with the project team on social safeguards and resettlement matters.
Master's degree in Social Science, Sociology, or a similar discipline.
Minimum 15 years of professional experience.
Minimum 10 years of experience in social safeguards, resettlement, or similar fields.
Minimum 5 years of experience in similar donor-funded development projects.
Proficiency in English.
Competitive and negotiable remuneration based on qualifications and experience.
Per diem provided; accommodation is not separately provided.
