Fisheries expert

INCATEMA Consulting & Engineering is looking for experts for fisheries projects in Latin America having the following qualifications and experience:

• A postgraduate qualification in Fisheries or related field, with strong management skills and experience, with an emphasis in Business Development Services (BDS) and/or food value chain development or related area;
• Work experience in Latin American countries preferably in the Caribbean and Central America region.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including working as team leader, in Latin American countries and/or developing countries with similar conditions; experience and demonstrated skills in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and developing solutions for the provision of Technical Services;
• Familiarity with the procedures and reporting requirements of EU, UN, Development banks, bilateral cooperation agencies and equivalent entities.
• Familiarity with complementary development projects management tools such as Monitoring Systems, data bases, GIS systems, and georeferenced databases.
• Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity to gender approach and environment and social safeguards approach.
