How Ready Are You for a Changing Climate? | Webinar

As climate change accelerates, its reverberations through the development aid sector are becoming increasingly profound. From exacerbating poverty to heightening food insecurity and displacing communities, the ramifications of a shifting climate are deeply intertwined with the goals and missions of development organizations.

To unravel the complex ways that climate change impacts the landscape of development aid, DevelopmentAid and climate change expert Katiuscia Fara are launching an invitation to the webinar, “How Ready Are You for a Changing Climate?”. Through a nuanced examination of the intersection between climate change and development aid, we aim to clarify the challenges and opportunities that arise in this intricate nexus. From the necessity of integrating climate resilience into development planning to the imperative of addressing climate-induced migration and conflict, we will explore how the development aid sector is grappling with the multifaceted impacts of climate change.

Amidst these challenges, there also lies the potential for innovation and collaboration. By harnessing innovative technologies, forging partnerships, and prioritizing climate-smart approaches, development organizations can mitigate the adverse effects of climate change and foster more resilient communities. This webinar seeks to encourage dialogue, inspire action, and catalyze collective efforts to address the intersecting challenges of climate change and development aid.
