📅 23 – 25 July 2024
Kingston, Jamaica
This event aims to connect the Caribbean region to the Pan-American Highway for Digital Health project, an initiative led by IDB, PAHO, and the countries of the region, that will be officially launched in October with support from the Government of Japan.
The sub-regional meeting will help realize the Caribbean’s vision for digital health by 2030 and also aim to foster a sense of sub-regional solidarity and cooperation, as countries share their experiences, challenges, and solutions, paving the way for collaborative projects and initiatives that can have a broader impact than isolated national efforts.
The encounter will also provide an opportunity for technical participants to identify tactical opportunities for cross-border health information exchange through currently planned or in-progress initiatives within countries, helping to accelerate the national “on-ramps” to the Pan-American Highway for Digital Health.
