Connecting Europe and Central Asia: Resilient, Smart and Safe Roads Driving Sustainable Growth.
The fourth International Road Federation (IRF) Europe and Central Asia Regional Congress and Exhibition will take place from September 30 to October 2, 2026, in Tbilisi, Georgia, in the Hualing Tbilisi Sea New City complex just north of the capital.
This year’s IRF Congress and Exhibition is an opportunity for transportation ministries, NGOs, tech companies, road contractors and design consultancies, engineers, transportation institutes, road transport advocates, and other stakeholders to discuss practical solutions and best practices for the Central Asia region, including road safety, infrastructure finance, regional connectivity, emerging technologies, and strategies for the Trans-Caspian and Middle Corridor.
The three-day event will combine high-level executive sessions with selected parallel technical sessions and extensive networking events with a special focus on Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Turkey.

More than 150 speakers and delegates from more than 30 countries are expected to attend this year’s event to discuss the future of regional mobility. The IRF Congress will highlight innovative policies, emerging technologies, and sustainable strategies that are impacting the evolution of road and transport infrastructure across the Central Asia region.
Bookending the technical and executive sessions will be opportunities for delegates and speakers to experience Georgian hospitality and a chance to visit local landmarks like the Tbilisi Funicular, a mountain cable railway that connects the capital with Mount Mtatsminda, take a tour of the Kvesheti-Kobi road project in the heart of the Greater Caucasus Mountains, and pay a technical visit to the Gorge of 60 Towers, which includes 23 kilometers of brand-new two-lane asphalt highway, five bridges, and five tunnels. This year’s congress will conclude with a special winemaking experience and dinner on the final evening, where a special Georgian wine that has been created, matured, and bottled exclusively for the IRF will be served along with traditional Georgian cuisine.
