datixxia provides organisations with a new form of economic intelligence. By analysing official Contract Award Notices from around the world, it transforms contract-backed information into forward-looking indicators covering the future performance periods recorded in those contracts, which may extend for up to four years.
Forecasting has become increasingly important as supply chains, geopolitics and technology change rapidly. Most conventional forecasts extrapolate from historical or current observations, leaving them vulnerable to sudden shocks. datixxia adds a different layer: activity to which organisations have already committed through awarded contracts. It is intended to complement, rather than replace, established forecasting methods.
datixxia analyses awards by buyer, supplier, sector and location. Because each notice records a procurement decision and a period of future performance, the platform can reveal how contract-backed activity is expected to develop across markets and geographies.
The platform collates official Contract Award Notices from sources covering 194 countries and receives up to 125,000 new and updated records each day. Its proprietary metrics make records from different sources and classification systems comparable, helping users identify contract-backed economic signals across sectors, organisations and locations.
datixxia is designed as a complementary intelligence layer alongside established market research and forecasting methods. Its dashboards and natural-language AI Chat help users explore proprietary metrics and interrogate Contract Award Notice data without needing specialist data-analysis skills.
datixxia can support organisations of all sizes in activities such as:
- Conducting market studies at local, regional, national or international level
- Identifying sectoral or geographic growth and decline
- Informing investment decisions
- Comparing potential locations for operations
- Identifying alternative markets
- Identifying potential customers, suppliers and competitors
- Anticipating future recruitment needs
- Informing strategic planning
The organisations for which datixxia is designed include:
- Accounting firms — To provide more effective advice to their corporate clients and help them grow and succeed.
- Economic forecasters and researchers — To add contract-backed evidence of future activity to their research and forecasting.
- Banks and insurance companies — To strengthen sectoral and geographic analysis, risk assessment and advice to clients.
- Chambers of commerce — To evaluate economic trends and respond to them in ways that support businesses and communities.
- Universities and research centres — As a research tool in applied and empirical economics.
- Business schools — For research and teaching, as well as career planning and the practical application of acquired knowledge.
More broadly, datixxia is intended for any organisation that can benefit from market intelligence, business research and forward-looking economic analysis.
datixxia will be available by subscription following its pilot phase. Selected organisations and representatives will first be invited to test the platform and provide structured feedback before commercial launch.
