The Africa Think Tank Summit (ATTS) is an annual high-level gathering that brings together leaders of African policy research institutions, development partners, and key stakeholders.
ATTS 2026 focuses on ‘From Energy Access to Economic Transformation’ — exploring how sustainable energy solutions can drive inclusive economic growth across the continent.
Co-hosted by the Government of Benin and organized by the African Capacity Building Foundation with the African Union Commission, this Summit will bring together African think tanks, policymakers, development partners, private sector leaders, investors, regulators, and energy experts.
Key partners include World Bank Group, African Development Bank, AUDA-NEPAD, United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, African School of Regulation, Africa Europe Foundation, WINGS, FAGACE, and ACED.
Through high-level keynotes, ministerial dialogues, panel discussions, side events, and interactive breakout sessions, participants will explore solutions on energy financing, utility reform, regional power integration, and translating policy commitments into implementation-turning energy access into real economic transformation.
