Add to Preferred SourcesFinding the right tender, grant, job, organization, or expert can take time, especially when each search depends on knowing which filters to combine. DevelopmentAid makes that process simpler. With our new AI Search feature, describe what you are looking for in everyday language, and the platform helps narrow the results to the relevant sectors, locations, and other criteria.
The DevelopmentAid platform brings together the largest databases of tenders, grants, jobs, organizations, experts, calls for partners, funding agencies, and foundations in one place. Our AI Search helps users get to relevant results faster, while keeping the search criteria visible and adjustable.
How the AI Search works
Over the years, we have developed multiple filters that can be used when undertaking an Advanced Search across our 10 databases. Although these filters deliver accurate results, they work best for users who know which filters to set and how to combine keywords, often using Boolean logic (search words such as AND, OR, NOT).
The new AI Search feature removes this step. You type your request, using words and phrases, almost as if you were asking a colleague. The AI Search then turns those words into filters and provides you with the results.
These examples demonstrate how the AI Search works in practice across various databases:
🔹 Organizations: Type “Consulting firms implementing WASH projects in Yemen” into the AI Search tab. The results will feature: Consulting organizations; Water, sanitation and hygiene sector; Yemen.
🔹 Individual consultants: Type “French-speaking renewable energy engineers in Africa” into the AI Search tab. The results will feature: Engineer positions; French language; 27 countries in Africa; Energy sector.
🔹 Tenders: Type “Forecast Agriculture tenders in Francophone Africa” into the AI Search tab. The results will feature tender announcements across 26 countries in Africa, forecasted in the Agriculture sector.
🔹 Grants: Type “Open Gender-related grants for NGOs in Asia” into the AI Search tab. The results will feature open grant calls in the Gender and Human Rights sector in Asia.
