Your Feedback is Needed to Help Better Prepare Employees
The Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) has partnered with DevelopmentAid to better understand what employers are looking for in entry-level global health positions. This research project was initiated following the publication of an influential report on perceptions of recent graduates seeking employment in global health that found a substantial number of graduates struggling to find employment.
We hope to better understand the employment landscape for entry-level global health employees through the lens of the employer. Documenting employer expectations of skills, competencies, and experiences desired for entry-level employment may provide critical information for the development of enhanced education and training programs.
If you’re responsible for supervising new employees in positions related to global health research and practice, we invite you to complete a short survey to communicate your hiring practices so that educational programs will have a better sense of the expectations in the workforce and train their students accordingly. If this is not your role, please forward this invitation to the correct individual. Thank you for your cooperation.
We hope that you will take a few minutes to complete our survey to ensure a strong global health workforce. By participating, you will also have the option at the end of the survey to receive the study results.
