The One by One: A Sustainable Future for Africa

The conference a Sustainable Future for Africa will catalyze conversations on how best to translate the dual calls of Africa Agenda 2063 and SDG 2030 into universal health coverage (UHC) in Africa.

We are bringing leaders from across both the UHC and environmental sectors to define and contextualize the meaning of UHC in Africa in order to draw on the best practices, gaps, synergies, and object lessons to develop a roadmap for the way forward.

The One by One 2019 Conference will take place on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. Participants will include: African Heads of State, Ministers of Health, Environment, Finance, Transportation, Energy, and Education, Ambassadors to the United Nations, heads of donor agencies, multilateral and bilateral development partners and foundation leaders, private sector CEOs, entrepreneurs and innovators, NGO leaders, civil society representatives, and youth activists.
