In digital transformation lies a key for the future. This applies not only to the emerging countries but also for all other countries in the APLAK region addressing the Digital Transformation as an opportunity. It enables partners to get integrated into the global economy and to leapfrog in their development.
As an actor supporting development worldwide, it is imperative for GIZ to become involved in the dynamics of digital transformation and to help shape the digital future together with their partners. Digital transformation brings fundamental changes for the organization and partners in the countries and defines how we work today and in the future. The APLAK Department has taken up the challenges of digitalization and implemented the Digital by Default approach as an early mover.
