Virtual Meeting
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, developing countries need urgent support. The event will discuss the potential of deepening partnerships and joint action at a time when we know development strategies and budgets are being realigned.
The global dialogue will facilitate discussion with a wide range of partners on the potential of deepening our collaboration.
The event’s objectives are to:
- Consult on priority programme areas to strengthen FAO’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic;
- Demonstrate partnership opportunities for coordinated response to immediate humanitarian food crises, as well as for mid- and long-term development actions;
- Mobilize all forms of resources and partnerships for joint results at country, regional, and global level.
